The Reel of the Red Banner was especially composed and performed by Ewen Henderson for BloodLine, the final book in the Black Tower Trilogy by Nick Bastin about Clan MacNachtan’s escapades in an alternative contemporary Britain. The book is partly set in St Kilda and the video features pictures taken by the author on his trip to the islands.

CMAW member Colin Mairs conducts tours of Australia, New Zealand and Scotland, sometimes with world-famous travel guide, author and broadcaster Rick Steves. Joe, a participant in two of his recent programs, produced a beautiful twenty-minute video for each trip, destined as mementoes for Joe and the other participants, but turning out to be much more, with cinematic vistas of memorable highlights in Australia and New Zealand, carefully placed titles, and expertly chosen popular music soundtracks
